Open Enrollment

All active full-time employees MUST complete Open Enrollment. This is your annual opportunity to enroll in the benefit plans, make changes, add dependents or waive your coverage.
Maximize your benefits!

Open Enrollment is your chance to enroll in benefits, make changes to your current selections, add or remove dependents, add a flexible spending account, or make a new election.

From May 8 through May 19, you must log in to Dayforce and enroll in benefits for the plan year:
July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024.

You must log in to Dayforce and complete the enrollment, even if you are not changing your elections.

Things To Do Now

·        Review your current benefit selections in Dayforce and consider your needs for the coming year.
·        Make an appointment with your doctor for an annual physical, or have the doctor complete the SayAah to document a physical in the last 24 months (February 2021 – present, accepted) to receive the $40 discount on your health insurance premium.
·        Sign up for a Zoom info session with our benefits team to get more details about the plan changes for 2023-2024 and to ask questions.
·        SAVE THIS EMAIL! It contains important dates, links, and more to help you get ready for when Open Enrollment begins on May 8.

What’s New for 2023?

NEW Network for NH Anthem Medical Plan – Access Blue 
·        Good news – the Tiered network is gone! Effective July 1, 2023, our medical plan with Anthem moves to the Anthem Access Blue Network. This Network includes all of New England – all of your current PCPs and Providers are included here.

Enhancements to the NH Anthem plan;
·        Deductibles are now $4,000/$8,000. This afforded us a lower cost increase to the plan.
·        High Tech Diagnostic Imaging copay with Site of Service provider (was $250) – lowered to $150.
·        X-rays with Site of Service provider (was $125) – lowered to $50.

Enhancements to the BCBSVT plan:
·        Deductibles are now $4,000/$8,000. This afforded us a lower cost increase to the plan.
·        20% coinsurance after deductible goes away, beginning July 1; covered in full after deductible.

Enhancements to the Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) keep your out-of-pocket deductible costs the same as those today.

·        The deductible support from ESNH* will increase to $3,000 per person/$6,000 per family, +spouse or +child(ren) plan or family plan.
·        Reimbursement will be paid at 100% after the first $1,000 of the deductible is met by the employee and/or their dependent.
·        Checks or direct deposits will come to you directly from the vendor, AleraEdge.

Medical Premium
Small premium increase beginning July 1. Updated premiums can be viewed in Dayforce.

Flexible Spending
·        Rollover up to $610 in unused Healthcare Flex spend dollars from the 2023/24 plan year.
·        Increase in healthcare flex spending to $3,050.

Important Reminder:
Elections are binding. Changes to benefits after Open Enrollment are only allowed if you have a Life Event such as a marriage, birth or adoption, loss of coverage, or aging out. These changes must be made within 30 days of the event, and documentation is required.
